ALGEBRA (FRIDAY)
LT: Students will write inequalities that represent the solutions on each number line.
SUBMIT SCORE ALGEBRA 9-7 to 9-13 (28 pts)
Students' Task:
You will be given a set of problems by Mrs. W. On the first page you will need to write an inequality with an (x) for each of the number line problems. For the top of the page, create the actual number line.
The back set of problems requires you to solve the inequality for (x), then create the number line with the correct open and closed circles.
The last set of problems ask true or false questions.
NEED HELP
COMPLETED WITH THE SET OF PROBLEMS?
You may explore any MATH related app on the iPads.

Terms that you MUST show examples and explain are below...
- root
- vertex
- factor
- symmetry
- Zero Product Property
- generic rectangle
- Quadratic Formula
- Standard Form For Quadratics
- Radical-Square Roots
There are twelve rectangles for creative recording. Nine rectangles must be filled with LEGIBLE terms with a written example of your own work. (THIS WILL BE NEW WRITINGS) The remaining three rectangles must be filled with your creative ideas! You must think of one word to speak or one sound to record to associate with your work.
Make it great and be thankful it's not another worksheet!

The Saint Louis Gateway Arch has a shape much like a (1) ___________________. Suppose the x and y represent distances in feet and the origin is the point on the ground directly below the arch's apex. (Look it up!)
The Task...
Find the vertex (2) _________________ of the arch. Along with that, find the y intercept (3) ______________________ and both of the
x intercepts (4) ___________________ and (5) _______________________. After you find all of this, write the formula in standard form (6) _______________________. (Number six will require your complete attention).
Draw a sketch of the arch with all of the items above. Label everything you know!!!
